Aug 9, 2004 By: Kevin Brown A nice set of tire rims will add value to your vehicleIf you would like to customize your car or truck and add value at the same time, why not consider a new set of tire rims. You can choose from a huge selection of different styles and designs - spinner rims to classic wheels, the choice is yours. Tire rims will make your vehicle more pleasing to the eye. There are many different finishes to choose from on your new tire rims too. You can go for some nice flashy chrome rims, polished alloy wheels and a myriad of different colors too. Whatever your fancy, there are some custom wheels to match your personality. Some things to look at when buying your tire rims would be the bolt count and rim size. The bolt count is the number of holes your wheels have - this must match the number of bolts on your hub. The rim size is the diameter of the wheel and this must match what is currently on your vehicle unless you are changing the tire size too. If you want to increase the size of your tire rims, you will have to decrease the size of your wheel's profile or distance from the rim to the outside of the tire. The goal would be to keep the overall diameter of the wheel, plus tire, the same as the original. This will ensure that your speedometer remains accurate.
